Three Crosses Walking Group

Three Crosses Walking Group is a friendly group that walks on a monthly basis – usually on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. We meet at the Community Centre at 9.15am to share cars to the start point. Walks are usually between 6 and 10 miles duration, followed by a refreshment stop, and returning back to Three Crosses by mid to late afternoon. Details are circulated by email or the 3x Walking Group on WhatsApp about the week before with more information. Walkers need to confirm participation so that we wait for them! All walks are undertaken at your own risk. If you are interested, contact Belinda on 07884 126281 or Rayna on 07909 955305.

Future Walks (more detail will be added once each recce has been completed)

Wednesday 15th January 2025 – Belinda will be leading this walk. Leave Community Centre at 9:30 or meet at Cwm Ivy car park at 10am. Walk to hide near Whiteford Point for a coffee/snack then those that want to walk to The Lifgthouse can walk from there. Remainder can stay at the hide a bit longer and join others at The Point to walk back along the beach and back to the car park. Total distance is 5.5 miles but the section out to The Lighthouse can be quite slow. Expect to be back at Cwm Ivy car park by 2pm. Wear strong boots as there will be mud and slippy terrain out to The Lighthouse. Walking poles may also be needed.
